The aim of this thesis was to analyze stocks and propose measures to reduce the stock in a company engaged in the manufacture, sale and distribution of soft drinks. Using the ABC method of inventory I have divided into groups and each set an appropriate appointment system, the dose, the amount of safety stock and order levels. I also based on an analysis of turnover split the items into groups obrátkové fast, medium and slow obrátkové obrátkové and also calculated the overall turnaround time and sales of all items and the proportion of the groups turnover and the average stock. By analysis, XYZ, I divided the items according to their variability. For selected items, I analyzed the net, and the state of the stock and recommended specific actions. I also propose a simple system for electronic records of inventory. The results of the analysis and proposed recommendations further help us effectively manage stocks in a company.
