Abstract

The master thesis deals with the construction of a pneumatic jig for gluing car headlights in a fully automated assembly line. The pneumatic jig must ensure that the position of the headlamp body is always the same during the process. Maintaining the same position is important because the KUKA industrial robot glues and then presses the glass into the headlight body. In addition, the jig must be adjustable in three axes due to manufacturing tolerances of the headlamp body. The whole construction is processed in the form of a 3D model and in this work some production drawings will be available.
