Abstract
The master thesis describes gas fuels and their combustion. It deals with stoichiometric calculations and solves causes and consequences formation of the chemical reaction. The next chapter is about heat transfer. The last problem of theoretical part is using burners in practice and their sorting. The practical part solves the essence about computational fluid dynamics (CFD). First it deals with ways CFD and radiation. Then it deals with the solution of a specific example of the combustion of gaseous fuels in the software ANSYS – CFX. Subsequently, the calculated results are compared with the measured values from the combustion chamber prototype, which is located in campus VŠB.
