Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of trends in turning materials of group ISO M, with characteristic of machined materials in terms of machinability and with design of optimal geometry VBD for a particular application area. The submitter of this work is PrametTools s.r.o. company. The introduction describes the basic information that readers brings to the problems of machining and briefly introduces him to a cemented carbide and marking of indexable inserts. Then this work introduces the materials of group ISO M and their influence on the machining process methods of testing and measuring VBD. In the final of this work will be discussion of experts and techno- economic evaluation.
