Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the methodology of production of forgings for the automotive industry. The introduction compares the available technologies of forging and summarizes the latest trends in die forging. Based on modern forging procedures, the final shape of the forging is designed. After designing the shape of the forging, a sequence of technological operations is determined for the efficient production of the component. Subsequently, a technical and economic comparison of the production of the component is performed. Created production The findings are transferred to the actual production of the component. The created production process is documented in the annex of the bachelor's thesis.
