Diploma thesis called The Usage of an Electro Wire Cutting is focused on the manufacturing process of sheer tool which is done by an electro wire cutting machine Agie Classic 2S. The production of sheer tool was carried out in the company Fortell s.r.o. Diploma thesis called The Usage of an Electro Wire Cutting is focused on the manufacturing process of sheer tool which is done by an electro wire cutting machine Agie Classic 2S. The production of sheer tool was carried out in the company Fortell s.r.o. The work describes the processing of sheer tool, production technologies of components and design. The unconventional method – EDM was chosen and described in this thesis. The practical part is focused on the sheer tool production, which includes machining itself, technology process or calculation. Finally, the outline of a processing method was evaluated from technical – economic point of view.
