Abstract

Present bachelor thesis deals with marketing communication of restaurants in Opava on the Internet. The goal of the thesis is to suggest suitable marketing tools for communication on the Internet for the restaurant U Tiskárny. First part of the thesis deals with theoretical framework of marketing communication on the Internet and market characteristics, in which the restaurants operate. In the second part of the thesis, data gathered by an evaluation research on chosen restaurants is evaluated. The research was conducted by observation method based on criteria in evaluation scenario. The default restaurant U Tiskárny, despite its long tradition, still has some weaknesses in its marketing communication on the Internet and has room for great improvements.
