Abstract

The goal of this master thesis is to design a heat pump in collaboration with a solar system for a family house, specifically for heating and hot water preparation. The theoretical part is dedicated to the study of heat pumps and solar collectors, focusing on their principles of operation and classification. The practical part involves calculating the heat loss of the family house, determining the heat requirements for heating and hot water preparation and proposing a suitable heat pump and solar system. In the final, the proposed system will be evaluated from an energy, economic and environmental perspective, followed by a comparison with the current energy source, which is a gas boiler using natural gas.
