Abstract
The object of this work was to determine the situation on the beer market, knowledge of aspects of shopping behavior of customers consuming beer, but also to determine consumer preferences and factors. In the practical part of the research was done in the form of an online survey. The results were analyzed and recommendations were designed for manufacturers of beer. The research showed that Czech beer is for consumers normal part of life and like to indulge in it several times a week. Beer is preferred on various occasions, the most common activity was sitting with friends. Consumers can then grant the most draft and bottled beer
