Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with studies evaluating the implementation of tack welds for structural steels. The introduction describes the characteristics of welding using the 135 (MAG) welding process and filler materials. Hereinafter, embodiments of tack weld and weldability of unalloyed carbon steel. In the experimental part of the work deals with the verification of properties of selected test weld specimes. It assesses the macrostructure evaluation of the weld, Vickers hardness and visual examination.
