Abstract
Master thesis deals with structural design of new type of electromechanical security system for road vehicles. In the introductory section, there is an analysis of the current state of road vehicle security. The construction part consists of expressing requirements for functional safety and design of the mechanical security system itself. While developing data of locking mechanism, the goal was to realize proposal of mechanical system which is applicable to serial production vehicle. The serial production vehicle considered for the prototype installation is the Škoda Octavia I.gen.
