Vladimír Smrž, Ph.D. This thesis deals with the modernization of flight simulator from the Department of Air Transport VSB-TUO. The introduction determines particular purpose for which will the upgraded simulator serve. It also deals with requirements of regulations and accumulates information about applicable avionics for the purpose for which the simulator will be used. Based on this information and detailed analysis of existing concept are proposed changes that will make the upgrade. All changes are also supported by practical experience in using current concept and are designed to the best possible increased comfort of control of instruments and whole simulator and new modifications to the instrument panel, raised more authentic sense of the cockpit environment.
