Abstract

This master thesis deals with the calculation and construction design of excavator slewing gear according to parameters of upper construction. An integral part of this master thesis is basic calculation of gear and globular track upper construction of excavator. This thesis in its introduction part clearly summarizes the designs of rotary devices of upper constructions of large–scale mining excavators and allows easier orientation in this issue. One chapter of research summarizes rotary devices of mining excavators, which are currently operating in the locality of former North Bohemian Brown Coal Mining District. The main aim of this thesis is basic thought and design of globular tracks, with regard to relevant working and operating load and weather conditions.
