Abstract
This thesis is focused on optimizing hydraulic press Mannesmann Meer, the hydraulic unit is installed at ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Ostrava. The introduction summarizes the requirements for the optimization of hydraulic power units, including energy balance system. Chapter 1 focuses on the technical description and function of the press. In Chapter 2 describes the current unsatisfactory state of hydraulic power units for mechanics functions and creation of test pressure, including the current issue of balancing the Axis forces. In Chapter 3 and 4 are designed new pumps, including specification of the components. Chapter 5 covers the design heat flux and cooling and filtration units. In Chapter 6 is solved by optimizing pressure for balancing axial thrust forces the jaws of the press. In the final chapter 7 evaluates the result of the work achieved by an optimized system which has significantly lower energy losses and the failure of the system.
