Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of pistol ammunition and its impact on the functionality of the weapon. The first part indicates the breakdown and the determination of pistol ammunition, their structure, overview of the current caliber, historical development, labeling pistol ammunition, packaging and functional properties. The second part deals with the characteristics and distribution of semi-automatic pistols, which describes the duty cycle. Below are possible malfunctions due weapons pistol ammunition. Reliability of guns with different types of ammunition was verified by analysis, which was studied the effect gun charge to duty cycle the weapon. This analysis was performed as a practical test and calculation. At the end, the results are processed and evaluated.
