Abstract

This master thesis describes the hydraulic and detail engineering design solution of a Two-piston Pump for pumping of suspensions with hydropower. The introductory section describes the hydraulic solutions of pump for pumping suspensions using in hydraulic transport. Main section focuses on the hydraulic design of pump for specified suspensions and detail engineering design according to structural stress calculations. The thesis also includes design of valves for control of pump and parts dealing with static and dynamic characteristics during its operation. The final chapter is devoted to the calculation of the pressure drop during suspension flow, which is necessary for the design of the pump for the given hydraulic transport application.
