Abstract

The subject of this diploma thesis is process capability analysis in the cases of data non-normality. The first part focuses on a theoretical description of process capability and the analysis of the current state of the problems addressed. Furthermore, graphical and numerical methods of data normality testing are described. The first part also contains a detailed description of process capability analysis techniques according to selected approaches to data non-normality cases. The practical part represents an application of selected approaches to different types of probability distributions in terms of a quality sign being monitored. In conclusion, achieved results are compared and procedures are proposed to analyze process capability in case of data non-normality.
