Abstract

The goal of my Master’s thesis was to conduct an analysis of the process of recruitment and selection of employees in a Prostejov based construction company, PROSTAS, s.r.o. I also evaluated the current phases of the process and on this basis I suggested possible propositions and recommendations for improvements. In the first theoretical part I focused on the theoretical bases of recruitment and selection of employees. The second practical part was divided into three chapters. In the first chapter of the practical part I briefly described the Prostejov based construction company, PROSTAS, s.r.o. In the second chapter I conducted an analysis of the process of recruitment and selection of employees in the discussed company. I used a research method of survey to obtain the data. In the third and last chapter of the practical part I evaluated the current system of recruitment and selection of employees. Furthermore, I suggested steps that could improve the quality of the whole process.
