Abstract

The Master thesis deals with the structural proposal of the Tinsmith Stake for flatlock seam on drainpipes. There is the brief information about sheet materials and basic tinsmith manufacturing technologies in first two chapters. The third chapter discusses the issue of machines commonly used for closing the seam on pipes and their basic types. Fourth and fifth chapter deals with description of designed solution and checking of the frame. The aim of the sixth chapter is the structural design and check of eccentric mechanism. The last two chapters contain design and check of gears and shafts for manual roller drive. The assembly drawing of the Tinsmith Stake, drawing of the eccentric and drawing of housing for the eccentric are included in enclosure.
