Kapacity a odměňování pracovníků v pobytových zařízeních sociálních služeb pro seniory

Abstract

The changing social structure and life cycle in contemporary times are altering the position of seniors in society. With the gradual increase in life expectancy, the number of seniors is rising, which significantly impacts the quality of care. This is closely linked to adequate staffing, which is crucial for maintaining high levels of services for seniors and is inevitably connected to proper remuneration. The master's thesis examines the assessment of staffing capacities and compensation for workers in retirement homes in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the development of staffing capacities and compensation for selected social service workers in senior care homes within the Czech Republic. The evaluation was conducted using quantitative analysis, time series analysis, and a selected staffing model. The results of the thesis indicate that staffing capacities in senior care homes are largely insufficient, and compensation for workers varies significantly across different regions. The paper concludes with a formulation of the aspects, that influence, influence the capacity and remuneration of workers in retirement homes and a proposal for further research methods.
