Abstract

The bachelor thesis is concerned with problems of the human potential develpment in the selected institution of the public administation – a Municipal Office of the town Šenov. An analysis of the organizational approach to the human potential develpment and the formulation of possible recommendations for the office authorities in case of negative analytic findings was the aim of the thesis. The theoretic part of the thesis was focused on the pregnant definitions of terms of the human resource, human capital, human potential, human resource management, and public administration. The analytic part of the thesis contains the subject of the analysis specification, as well as the analytic procedure, methods and results. The conclusive part of the thesis was focused on number of suggestions and recommendations for the office authorities, regarding the human potential improvement.
