Abstract

This work is engaged in the elaboration of a press design for frictional lining affixation on the stamping rod web. The rod is used at the cokery operation for stamping of the coal prism, which is subsequently inserted into the coking chamber and there is transformed in coke. In the introduction is described the cokery operation, than follows a treatise referring to the function of the stamping machinery and stamping rod utilization. The stamping is performed by a repeated stroke of the stamping rod, which is on the flanks (sides) equipped with frictional lining for easy grasping in eccentric. Based on the previous experience here-by is worked out the design of the press and performed the calculation of the operational burden.
