Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of a fixture with integrated reference markers for optical measurement using the ATOS Q system. The main objective of the thesis was to propose a solution that would contribute to improving the quality and accuracy of 3D scanning. The theoretical section of the thesis primarily describes the fixtures used in optical 3D scanning and their importance in the measurement process. The theoretical section also includes a description of the ATOS Q scanning system itself, its operating principle, and its practical applications. In the practical section, a fixture with integrated reference marks was designed and created, intended primarily for scanning gears. The fixture design focused on ensuring better stability of the measured object and more accurate evaluation of the measured data. The experimental part of the thesis dealt with the actual measurement of the gear wheel, both with and without the use of the designed fixture. Subsequently, the measured deviations were evaluated for both variants, and the results were compared with the aim of determining the fixture’s impact on the quality and accuracy of the scan.
