Abstract

The thesis deals with comparison of traditional and newly introduced methodologies for management of information system development. Development take place at SW and HW level in a corporate environment. This thesis include analysis of new methodology and this comparation passes to analysis of the benefit which should be the result of new way controls. At the beginning of the thesis the traditional method of management will be presented and mainly the complexity of the analysis which these methodologies include. Then more modern methodologies will be introduced as a part of the agile methodology category. Theoretical part goes to analyze the way introduction agile methodology into company and evalution. At the end examines, if the introduction was successful. The benefit will be rate by acquisition accordingly index which not directly affect economics index. The change of these indicators is the result of newly introduced management methods. The work is mainly focused on the traditional waterfall model life cycle management and supply of modern agile Scrum methodology. The introduction of new methods has been applied in a company that is a member of a multinational telecommunication group and also a leader in telecommunications on the Czech market.
