RAMS/LCC analýza železničního dvojkolí

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the RAMS/LCC analysis of a railway wheelset. The theoretical part is aimed on describing terms and basic methods used in RAMS and LCC. In addition, the company BONATRANS GROUP a.s. is introduced. This company is where the RAMS/LCC analysis was performed. The practical part is later presented which focuses on two issues. Firstly, the demonstrative LCC assessment is shown on two illustrative examples. Secondly, the principles leading to the implementation of the RAMS/LCC philosophy of the wheelset development in the above-mentioned company are described. The aim was to judge whether RAMS/LCC goals would meet the requirements of the ISO/TS 22163 standard. This study proves that this standard is successfully met.
