Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the maintenance of system band saws for rough wood logs. In the first part are discussed the possibility of individual structural units. Followed by a description of the device, option of maintenance and lubrication of parts. In the next section, I suggested the implementation of maintenance that is required for correct operation of the facility. There I was focused on different parts of lubrication intervals, which are of working life the most important functions of the device. There are also described the frequency adjustment of moving parts. In the last part I made in the form of a table maintenance schedule and a table of possible failures and their causes. There are also described the difficulties in sharpening the band saw, which have the greatest impact on the quality of final product.
