Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals problems of tool life tests of ceramic cutting tools at interrupted cut at turning. In the beginning is work focuses on the theoretical part on cutting tools, thein characteristics, durability, life or attrition. Next part of this work includes experimental testing tools. Were tested two types of ceramic cutting tools from producer called Tungaloy and that four cutting plates FX105 and four cutting plates CX710. Machined materials were steel 12 050 (C45). Machine tool was lathe called ZMN SLIVEN type 500, year of manufacture 1982. The following is an analysis and compilation of the preparation used. Through testing to identify the findings are evaluated in tables, graphs or images of cutting plates, where you can see attrition.
