Abstract

The Master thesis is focused on the effect of the amount of rounding of the cutting edge on the durability of the replaceable inserts. The first part of this work is focus of Dormer Pramet company and description of milling technology. In the next part is the thesis focused on sintered carbides and types of tools wear. In the main part of the work is a comparison of durability tests replaceable inserts of competing companies with the same cutting rounding edges and at the same cutting condition. The roughness of the machined surface after milling and the production of rounding was compared. At the end of the work is a technical - economic evaluation of the achieved results.after milling and the production of rounding was compared.
