Abstract

The Bachelor thesis is devoted to expressing the design of the Mi-171Š helicopter fuel system modification. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis the characteristics of the helicopter are described, and the function of the fuel system is explained. It also deals with the description of the existing design of fuel tanks, the possibility of replacing the external fuel tank with a tank with higher fire protection and its integration into the fuel system. The practical part deals with experimental model verification of the proposed technology and evaluation of the achieved results. From the evaluation, a conclusion is subsequently drawn for the possibility of application on a real helicopter design.
