Abstract

The aim of this master's thesis is to analyze the current state of employee development and succession planning processes in the selected company XYZ and subsequently propose specific optimization measures to streamline talent management. The thesis is divided into theoretical, analytical, and proposal sections. The theoretical part defines basic concepts in the field of human resource management, employee evaluation, and career planning. The analytical part, using a questionnaire survey and internal analysis, identifies the main personnel risks of the company, which are mainly a critically low substitution rate and a lack of transparency in career growth. The proposal section responds to these findings by creating transparent career maps for technical specialists, implementing a 9-box evaluation grid, and introducing formalized internal mentoring. These measures are supported by a cost calculation, and their goal is to stabilize strategic employees and protect key corporate know-how.
