Abstract
This thesis is focused on internal vertical communication in a purchase industry. The main goal is to clarify, how a process of vertical communication between purchasing managers and their superiors works. The goal of this thesis is researched into a method of qualitative research by using a semi structured interview. The obtained data are anonymized and analysed by an open coding method. In a proposed part are written some recommendations, which are of a general character and partly directed to particular purchasing managers. This thesis is beneficial, mainly because no one has ever dealt with the issue of vertical communication in the field of industrial purchase before. It can be a guide for individual purchasing managers, in which way should they communicate with their supervisors.
