This thesis is concerned with the measurement of air in the oil. In the introduction the characteristics of liquids, the influence of air in the liquid on its characteristics, the fluid compressibility and elastic modulus are described, followed by description of different types of measurements, measuring instruments and the possibility oil degasification. Laboratory section focuses on the calculation of air content, determination of the modulus of elasticity and total oil content of air in mineral oil
