Design of End Effector for Hercules Mobile Robot Manipulator

Abstract

Ergin, A.E. Design of the end effector of the Hercules Mobile Robot: Master Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Study Programme, 2020, 66 p. Thesis head: Ing. Michal Vocetka. The diploma thesis is dealing with the designing an end effector for the Hercules Mobile Robot. Possible solutions from the market were introduced. Possible motor types were described. Possible camera solutions to use in new design were offered. Hercules MR’s current situation was described. Requirements for the new design were defined. Three design variants with different working mechanisms were introduced. Election was made by using triangular method of selecting the best variant. The final product was designed based on the elected variant.
