Abstract

The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is "assessment of employee benefits in a selected company in the food industry". The main objective is to evaluate the current status of employee benefits, to propose innovations to the existing system and to find out to what extent employees are informed about the benefits provided. The first part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to remuneration and employee benefits, including their breakdown and method of provision. The practical part focuses on the description of the selected joint stock company. Furthermore, the practical part provides a closer look at the individual employee benefits provided by the company. Subsequently, a questionnaire survey was conducted to explore the views and comments of the company's employees. At the end of the paper, suggestions and recommendations are given which emerge from the questionnaire survey and are expected to lead to improvement in the current state of benefits.
