Hodnocení přesnosti měření okamžité rychlosti osobních automobilů

Abstract

In the first part of this thesis, the objective is to introduce the problem of automobile actual velocity measuring scheme and to refer to legislation governing this matter. The following is a description of the rotating wheel speed measuring unit's functions and performance. To gather this data, the author's own experimental measurements concerning the instantaneous velocity of selected cars were carried out. As the next step, the methodology of test procedures and a description of the measurement of instantaneous velocity were set up. The results obtained by the measurements are statistically evaluated and presented in graphs and tables. At the end, the findings obtained by measurements are summarized and the resulting variations in the speed indicator indicating instantaneous velocity are compared to the actual velocity.
