Abstract
The initial chapters of the thesis are devoted to vacuum and vacuum pumps. This information is used to better understanding of the structural design of vacuum pumps.
After the explanation of the issue directly in the company Edwards there are proposed such processes and products to eliminate the disadvantages of previous processes and products. Mounting temperatures are proposed for the interference fit. The production of the products and related adjustments of the workflow are proposed. The complete production documentation of products is attached in annexes.
