Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with description and analysis of the inertial reference system (IRS). In the introduction, the author describes some of the current and possible future problems of the air transport. Theoretically, the problems can be partially solved by the IRS. The author also describes and analyzes the current state and characteristics of the IRS. He also describes the hardware and software solutions of the IRS. The thesis also contains a brief summary of the history of the unmanned aircrafts and the usage of the IRS in their regulatory system. The possible future of the air transport, development and usage of the IRS is also being discussed.
