Abstract

The bachelor thesis is dealing with the design of a wood milling machine for the production of round rods, capable of changing machined diameter while working process. The introductory part presents a more detailed description of the task, as well as a brief presentation of devices available on the market. Most suitable of which is used as a foundation for further design. The next part deals with determining the cutting force and other parameters. The design part is divided into multiple chapters, each focusing on selecting or designing components of the given machine part. These chapters also contain technical calculations. This thesis includes enclosed technical drawings.
