Modernizace stejnosměrného pohonu kolejového vozidla

Abstract

This work deals with a new design for DC and AC drive for a special rail vehicle. Proposal is based on requirements derived from the test operation. This work was motivated by lack of function of the current drive. The drive is powered from 24 V battery. It describes possible design solutions of the drive and also some practical findings from the survey of supply market on the availability of certain components. The conclusion is for an assessment of various options in several respects. It also mentioned a proposal to conceptual change of the drive, that would likely bring several benefits.
