Abstract

The aim of my thesis was to analyze the current state of marketing activities of the city Havířov and identify problem areas in this city. I focus on the description of the city Havířov in theoretical part and specify the marketing mix of the city applied then in practical part. It was important to find out what is opinion of inhabitants. Therefore I realized the marketing research through personal questioning in the city. On the basis of the results I outlined the possibility of increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of this city and proposed recommendations that could promote further development of the city.
