Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of a rugby ball thrower. The first chapter describes and compares existing types of throwers. The following two chapters deal with the selection of components and the design of the device itself. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the strength analysis of the thrower stand. The device is designed for a standardized ball size and a range of up to 50 meters. The thesis also includes an assembly drawing and a manufacturing drawing of the shaft.
