Abstract

The bachelor thesis is dealing with Stress-strain Analysis of the Student Formula Frame. The introduction describes a history and a goal of Formula SAE/Student competition. Other part of the bachelor thesis deals with analysis of rules and describes parts of the car. Then are described creating models and their comparsion. The calculation is performed by finite element method. The boundary conditions are according to Formula SAE rules. The solutions were calculated in Ansys Workbench and MSC Patran. In the end there are summarized the pros and cons of the models. The frame is insufficient according to Formula SAE® Rules.
