Abstract

My thesis is devoted to examining the mechanical interference in the already blasted sheet metals and the importance of proper coating material. In my work I am to improve the quality of paints in the Q-tech Ltd. company, which is engaged in manufacturing weld-ments, including the final surface finish. The Q-tech company carries out grid paint adhe-sion test according to CSN EN ISO 16276-2. In the theoretical part of the thesis the current state of the company operations is described. In the practical part I have performed tests of roughness after blasting and paint adhesion tests after applying it to variously pretreated surfaces. The tests are described and subse-quently evaluated. The overall evaluation of tests is shown at the end of my thesis.
