The Thesis deals with construction of measuring device for measuring of chain preload for drag conveyers. Calculation is made in conformity of conditions used in standard ČSN EN 1127-2 for devices used in dangerous coal mines conditions. In the begining of the work, there is introduced research of devices, which are used to small machinery in coal mines. Kinematical and hydraulical solution is created for chain preload, and all main parts are calculated for strenght control. Drawing documentation is created in program AutoCAD 2007.
