Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focusing on the topic of Rock Breaker Boom Systems and modification of one of its components. These systems are used in the mining industry for crushing oversized stones in the mouth of the gyratory crushers that are processing broken stones. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design modification of the boom arm and to provide the overall review of the global sector of rock breaker machines. Hence the content of the thesis is not only about design but also about the context. The value of this bachelor thesis is in application of general engineering knowledge in particular sector and the chance for reader to get familiar with the sector.
