Abstract

The thesis deals with modelling of time-dependent deformation of material using the linear theory of viscoelasticity. This theory is applied to the structural analysis of reinforced concrete structures which utilize the short form of B3 model and the direct stiffness method for plane frames. The creep analysis is based on numerical integration of the creep compliance function or numerical solution of differential equation for aging Kelvin chain model. These methods are algorithmically implemented in the direct stiffness method using programming language Matlab. The results of analysis using proposed algorithms are compared and discussed on four different examples. There is also presented comparison of solution according to the EN 1992-1-1 technical standard.
