Abstract

This thesis describes the design of equipment for flue gas from incineration of hospital waste. The introductory section describes the legislation in the field of waste and the subsequent formation of emissions during combustion. In this thesis, describing possible methods for cleaning flue gas. It is performed thermal and hydraulic calculation of the semi-stage gas washing. The flue gas cleaning is done with a two level spray absorber, semi-dry lime scrubbing method and filter cloth. Combustion gases then pass through the fan in the chimney flue.
