Abstract

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to design and build a working prototype of a reconnaissance vehicle. The project will explore the capabilities of various sensors that can be utilized based on their functions and compatibility with the Arduino platform. A custom-designed user interface will be used to control the vehicle and display data from the sensors. The rover is designed to assist in hard-to-reach areas where it would be difficult for a person to access, or in situations where we do not know whether it is safe to enter a given space due to the possible presence of gases hazardous to human health or the presence of flammable or explosive gases.
