Abstract
PEKALA, Vojtěch. Analysis of the Mechanical Properties of LUVOSINT X92A-2 WT Material Processed by SLS Technology. Ostrava, 2025, Bachelor’s Thesis. Ostrava: VSB – Technical university of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology. Thesis supervisor: Ing. Jakub Měsíček, Ph.D.
This bachelor thesis focuses on the mechanical properties of the material LUVOSINT X92A-2 WT processed using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology. The theoretical part introduces the topic of additive manufacturing, describes various 3D printing technologies, and provides
a detailed analysis of the SLS method. The experimental part is dedicated to the preparation of test specimens, the execution of tensile tests, and the measurement of surface roughness. For comparison, identical tests were also conducted on samples made from EOS TPU 1301 material. The results of the experiments offer insight into the mechanical behaviour of the materials in different print orientations (0°, 45°, and 90°), allowing for mutual comparison. The thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of the properties of modern polymer materials used in SLS technology.
