Abstract
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a tubular heat exchanger for cooling pyrolysis gas according to specified input values. The work is divided into several chapters, which follow each other. Three chapters are researched, one chapter is devoted to calculations. The first research chapter describes pyrolysis, its history, principle and chemical reactions. Useful input materials and output products of pyrolysis are described in more detail. The following two research chapters are devoted to heat exchangers. First, the work describes the general division and types of exchangers, the basic requirements for the exchanger and heat transfer fluids. Subsequently, the description is focused only on tubular heat exchangers. The chapter devoted to calculations includes both the design of the heat exchanger and the basic calculations leading to the exact determination of the dimensions of the proposed tube heat exchanger. The calculations include the calculation of the heat balance of the exchanger, heat sharing and transmission, aerodynamic and hydraulic calculation. The geometry of the exchanger is selected for the construction of the exchanger and the construction dimensions are calculated.
